Main part easy to assemble only needs 1 person, hardest part was getting the cable system right as diagram is not the best. Have your own ratchet spanners as ones provided not the best. Follow the instructions and don't try to jump ahead. Don't over tighten bolts as then the moving parts won't work. Overall a good value gym does all you need, also getting some of the extra attachments will allow more exercises to be performed however ebay for them is cheaper.

I'm 5'6", so I won't exactly be playing in the NBA anytime soon and this bench does exactly what I need/needed it to. However, even with my height, the bench press feels ever so slightly too high up on the chest with my head as far back as it can go. I can imagine this problem is only exacerbated on users with taller frames. Secondly, although part of the bench can be folded away, the overall machine is big. Much bigger than anticipated, which is more on me than anything else. There seems to be a lot of wasted space from an engineering standpoint compared to other multi-gyms on the market, ultimately this also wasn't a problem for me, but it's again something to be wary of. Note that the manufacturers also have a compact variant on sale at a slightly higher price tag. I also worry about the friction of the pulley as it comes down the back side of the machine, it already seems to have worn the metal down a little and I fear this may cause snagging on the cable in the future, but this is probably easily rectified by covering the problematic area. While the gym definitely has its shortcomings, and the instructions are a little awkwardly ordered and paced at times (took me around 4 hours or so to build. Also make sure you have a decent ratchet wrench set, the bike wrenches included are a nightmare to work with); I can't truly fault it, because it does exactly what it says on the tin for the most part and I don't regret purchasing it.

I was actually surprised with the quality of the gym set. Of course, it took a few hours to set up but it was definitely worth it. The only slight criticism I have is that the pull (string) gets weak after some months and it is quite difficult finding cheap replacement. That said, it had definitely saved me months of gym membership.

I couldn't believe that for significantly less than a year's gym membership I could get all of these exercises in one piece of apparatus. I built it by myself over a few evenings just following a page or two a night from the instructions which were reasonably easy to understand. There were just a couple of things I'd recommend. First, fully torque the nuts underneath where the weights will go as soon as you assemble that part as access to them later is very difficult. Second, the instructions state that everything should be tightened so that the bolts go fully through the lock nuts which is sensible enough. However, in some places when you do this they are so tight that they break the paint/powder coat on the frame which is a shame. Finally, you'll probably want to get v-bars, rope grips and a new lat bar with neutral handles for more variation on the lat pulldown exercises. All in all, though, this is very much a 5-star product. Highly recommended!

WORST MULTIGYM EVER!!!!! First of all, after putting it up, i felt mega depressed just looking at it. It's absolutely trash bag to look at. If you use only the top plate of the weight stack for those stubborn muscle areas, you will wait 10 seconds before the the plate goes back down again. Its like watching paint dry. When doing seated lat rows, DO NOT go over 3 plates otherwise you will drag the gym along the floor. When it means folding the seat up for easy storage, it actually means "use one of the cable attachments to wrap around the seat to hold up". There's no lock but to keep it up. YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO WRAP A CORD AROUND THE DAMN THING TO HOLD IT UP. ITS NOT EVEN SECURE WHEN YOU DO IT, JUST HANGS THERE. It took 10 minutes to put up as its crappy material and badly designed. Its not even worth giving back, its going straight to the dump site ASAP. Hope this review helps you. Don't pay over £340 when its only worth £20 (which is really pushing it) 👍👍👍👍

I read the reviews prior to purchase and was unsure whether this was for me! However, I went ahead and purchased the 'Gym' which duly arrived and was carefully put into my garage by the Driver. There were just 2 packages; 1. the main Gym components and 2. the weights. Everything was well packaged and complete (although it can be difficult to check list of parts against the actual components as individual parts were not identifiable by labels). The assembly instructions included were a little grey and hard to see some of the finer details but a downloaded copy was much easier to read on a mobile device. I had no problem with any of the assembly (including the cabling) although a couple of times I had to just think a little harder. The small parts such as nuts, bolts, washers etc. were cleverly supplied in a single 'blister' pack with everything clearly labelled and pretty-much fool-proof. All-in-all it took me about 3 hours (including tea breaks) to complete assembly. Easy to do and actually quite therapeutic in a strange way - an enjoyable 3 hours methinks.
