As many have said putting it together can be a challenge the instructions aren’t clear at times. But once finished the function and use is all good. The design is good solid weight capacity. It’s good value for money overall we’re happy with it.

This is a quality home gym. Well worth spending the extra on for the study build and excellent range of exercises (exercises can be further supplemented by accessories.) The instructions were good but there is also a video on YouTube to help put it together (I don't know if able to put link here but just search Studio 7400.) Weight stack is quiet in operation for anyone worried about noise and the pulley system for the weights is smooth in action. Adjustment of the weight amount is easy. The exercise chart is useful. All round positive! In addition communication & customer service from Sweatband was fantastic from beginning to end (seperate review about this submitted & I would recommend them as a highly reliable vendor from which to buy a big purchase like this.)

Great multigym, really impressive build quality, especially for the price. The only complaint is in the clarity of the instruction manual, which is very difficult to follow. Fortunately, if you google "DKN 7400 Studio Assembly", you'll find a very helpful video which a couple of guys put together to show building one of these from the ground up. This isn't needed for the first few assembly steps but becomes an absolute lifesaver when things start getting complicated and you have to begin putting the rollers on. And something that cost me a lot of time which I'll share here to spare you the pain ... when adding the rollers there are two different types, one of which has a slightly wider collar than the other. The ones with the narrower collar are intended to be placed inside the metal frames which have dedicated cutouts for them. The wider ones won't fit. Don't mix them up! (The difference isn't easy to spot once it's assembled and you'll find yourself taking old rollers off and checking them visually, as I did).

The media could not be loaded. Great gym. You have to assemble it yourself though. But it was OK if you are hady with assembly. But is compact and does all you need really. Just added a few free weights to complete the setup.

I prepared by taking my time with the assembly, (two days) and watching you tube videos. It was quite fun to put together, just like giant a meccano set. The rig is pretty sturdy. I have been using the gym for a couple of weeks, with just short 20 minutes session each day. I am already noticing feeling healthier, with upper body strength conditioning and air capacity. Slowly increasing the length of my sessions, but not yet feeling comfortable about increasing the weights, if ever. Note if measuring for space, you also need to allow for your lie down length in front of the machine, for rowing pull exercises. I am not sure why they supply 80Kg of weights. Starting out I can only manage 15Kg, and doubt that I will ever get to 25Kg. It would make more sense to pay for extra weights.

Ordered over a week ago and still waiting for all the items. Sweatband have only sent 1 box. Originally the courier couldn’t deliver because they hadn’t received any of the boxes, now they say that they are still awaiting the last three boxes. I have all the bits to assemble the frame but none of the wait plates. How can sweatband keep making the same mistakes. Really poor!

took about 10 hours over two days. forget the two multi spanners that comes with the kit, I cannot imagine they would work, use your own spanners and sockets. I am still not sure I got it all 100% but it works lovely and I have a few spare washers left over so I feel I have beaten the system. I am open to criticism here, but without that guidance video on you tube, I would have struggled more than I already did. My tips are; 1. only pop the nuts and bolts on the press out cards for each step according to the booklet - so on diagram one in the booklet just pop out step 1 on the card. 2. pulley wheels - there is a big bag and a little bag containing 3, don't mix them up. The big ones go as follows (well, it is what I did) one at the very top, where you would use the pull down bar once attached, the next one is directly back from it on the top frame. When you thread the pulley wire through this should become apparent. The last one is at the bottom where you use the leg exercises - in the frame at the bottom. 3. there are a couple of time the pulley arms only use one of these said arms. Be careful, I put one the wrong way round and is essentially useless. I can't be bothered to rectify it, but would be very easy to do, just remove the nuts and swap it the other side of the pulley. Just observe what and where the wire is going if in doubt. The wire clicks into the pulley arm and acts as a safety guide. 4. watch the you tube video. May have mentioned that before.
