This set contains 5 resistance bands each about 60 cm in length. As a set it is very compact and extremely versatile; they can be used to exercise many parts of the body, for both starters and more experienced health and exercise enthusiasts. These bands are probably of good quality smooth latex and can be perfectly used for for a wide range or excesses and in any setting, indoor or outdoors, at home, on holiday or in the gym/ the yoga class. Obviously the key attribute and benefit of these bands is the colour-system that specifies the level of difficulty, the strength is also clearly printed on them. You can also combine two or more resistance bands to match you preferred strength level. My wife is simply quite happy with them and uses the set quite frequently. She has several medical issues, for example she is prone to get bruises easily when exercising, however these bands are smooth and quite gentile to the skin. The presentation of the set is decent, the bands come in a small cardboard box. The use of the bands is very intuitive, yet for those in doubt there is a very clear instruction booklet with explanatory graphs and that includes instructions in a range of languages. The set also comes with a convenient carrying/travel storage bag for both the bands and the instruction booklet . Interestingly, the bands also come with an unconditional lifetime warranty (!) - which is somewhat of a red herring - what would be the life time of these rubber bands? And how they are going to refund a broken or dried-out elastic band in say 15 years time? Will Griffin still exist in its current form, would any buyer still remember that have these bands are covered by a warranty in 5 years time?. All quite fascinating. The only real downside it that my wife thinks it’s quite enjoyable to get in shape while watching our most favoured tv series, I have a different opinion about that. The distracting arm- and leg-swinging is even worse when have our weekly family movie evening. The lightest bands are also good for children’s exercise so they happily join in on such occasions..

I purchased these because after a year of over-indulgence with the takeaways (whoops) I really needed to tone up. The gym was too pricey, as was buying a great big set of weights. I needed something I could carry on me, yet we’re durable and actually did the job. These have not disappointed. They arrived right on time, in a neat little travel bag that’s easy to pop in my handbag, and an instructional guide. I’ve never tried resistance bands because I wrongly assumed they would be useless, but boy was I wrong. They are incredibly versatile, you can do SO many different exercises with them. I was afraid they would break but so far they are holding up great. In my bigot I used the toughest band (the black one). After all, it’s “just a bit of rubber” I thought. Nope. These make for a pretty intense workout. And because they are so compact, I can pretty much chill out in front of the tv whilst using them. Winner! And even better, they are great for helping those with disabilities. My Mom has arthritis and had a hip replacement, and desperately wanted to get in shape but didn’t know how. Enter these bands. The exercises are simple yet effective, shes started with the lighter bands, she’s had no issues and is finally gaining her strength and confidence back from the comfort of her home. SO glad I purchased these, highly recommend for anyone. Whether you’re an elderly person/someone who’s been in physio who needs a gentle exercise aid, to someone who’s looking for an intense workout, these fit the bill.

These resistance band are as advertised and look to be high quality for the money. These are my thoughts only on an initial look as I have not really had a chance to properly use these, but on a first inspection I give it an overall FIVE (5) stars because they are exactly as described and I expect they will do exactly as they are meant to do. The only reason why I give it 4 stars specifically for 'Versatility' is because the two lightest resistance band levels - especially the lightest one which was for me the Green band (also pictured) - are so basic and beginner level that they really are not much use to me or I imagine to even moderately accomplished recreational level / developed athletes incl. academy level footballers; they offer no resistance really and feel like they could snap. So, this now means in reality, it is mainly just the top three resistance band levels in each pack of 5 that I can actually use; I have to order additional packs to get up to the number of bands I need with two bands in each pack therefore essentially being wasted / not used; also not good for the environment as they are made from rubber. Will be honest and fair though in also saying this was not to be unexpected, as they are exactly as advertised which is why the 5 stars overall remain. Just surprised how basic the lower levels bands were when I got them. I also looked to buy instead customized Gritin packs; packs of 5 with just the higher resistance bands included, which by knowing that Gritin should know how low level level the lower bands are, I would then expect they would have pre packed variety packs for sale, but sadly Gritin do not provide packs with this variety mix of higher resistance level band only. Four stars for 'Durability' is also for the same reason. The Lower two resistance levels to me offer next to zero resistance and feel like they could snap though use. I suppose they might be useful in post rehabilitation exercises idk. Overall, they are as described, come recommended, seem well made on the whole and are well priced so they get 5 stars. Also come in a useful carry case for every 5 band pack which is helpful.
